Everything you need to know before you book!
Tap a question to read the answer. If yours is not here, Jenny is happy to help.
How many guests can stay?
Up to nine overnight guests. There are four bedrooms and five beds: three queen beds, plus a bunk bed with a twin on top and a full on the bottom. The townhome also has three full bathrooms and two living spaces.
Is it suitable for families with children?
Yes. The townhome is made for family vacations and friend getaways. The Jellyfish room has a bunk bed that kids of all ages love, there is a full kitchen for family meals, and a heated community pool.
Why book direct instead of on a large platform?
Booking direct means you save! 3rd party booking engines like airbnb, vrbo and booking.com charge a ton of fees. It also keeps planning simple, from your questions before the trip to your check-in details.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms depend on your dates and the rate you book. The policy is shown before you confirm your reservation, and Jenny is happy to explain it before you book.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is before 10:00 AM. Check-in is self-service with a lockbox, so there is no need to meet anyone. We can often accommodate late check out or early check in if it is not the busy season, just ask!
Are there stairs?
Yes. One bedroom is downstairs, with no stairs to climb. The other three bedrooms are upstairs, up one flight of stairs.
What is in the kitchen?
A full kitchen where you can cook your own meals, with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. It also has pots and pans, cooking oil, salt and pepper, plus plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. Outside, there is a BBQ grill on the patio.
Are linens, laundry and WiFi included?
Yes. Towels, bed sheets, basic soap and toilet paper are provided. There is a washer and dryer in the home, an iron and hangers, WiFi, TVs, and both air conditioning and heating.
Are pets allowed?
Dogs are welcome, one pet maximum, for an additional $150 cleaning fee. Sorry, no cats, because the hosts are allergic. Assistance animals are always allowed.
Is parking available?
Yes, there are 2 dedicated parking spots in front of the unit. If your group is bringing more cars or a golf cart, plan to park the extras on Gracie's Way. Garage is not large enough for a car and is storage only.
Can we smoke or vape at the home?
No. Smoking is not allowed inside the home, including vaping and e-cigarettes. A $1,000 fee applies to cover cleaning and any damage.
Are parties or events allowed?
No. The community has a strict HOA, so parties and events are not allowed. Someone over the age of 25 must also be at the home at all times.
How far is the beach?
About a five minute walk. You can also drive onto the beach. Please check the current beach rules and any permit requirements before you go.
Do we need a golf cart?
Not at all, but many guests enjoy one. A golf cart rental sits right across the street, and it makes the trip to the beach and to restaurants easy, especially if you are carrying chairs and coolers.
Is the pool private?
No. It is a heated community pool, shared with the small community.
Where can we eat and shop nearby?
Restaurants in Port Aransas are about a five minute drive away, and a corner store is about two minutes on foot. Jenny is happy to share ideas before your trip.
